Known in some circles as “The Gay Cheers”, The White Horse is a Cocktail Bar and Dance Club, located on Telegraph Ave, one mile from UC Berkeley’s Sather Gate. It cater to a very diverse, eclectic and college crowd. In addition to dance they have Cabaret shows, Karaoke, pool tables, pinball, video games, buztime trivia and some of the best Dj’s spinning in the Bay Area!

The White Horse Inn still stands at the corner of 66th Street and Telegraph in Oakland. Built in 1936, it’s the oldest continuously operating gay and lesbian bar in the Bay Area and possibly the second oldest in the United States. Today it stands as a monument to the lesbian and gay community as well as being influential to the East Bay Culture.
