This Halloween we here at East Bay Loop, would like to give you our East Bay recommendations for the BEST & SAFE HALLOWEEN (Day-Of) FUN for KIDS throughout the East Bay! 

This Year we will be hosting a Halloween Picture Contest so make sure to Tag #EastBayLoop when posting your Halloween Fun for a chance to WIN a number of EXCLUSIVE PRIZES AND GIVEAWAYS!





Trick 'r Treat

Day-Of Events

Russell Street Trick or Treating in Berkeley (Off Ashby Ave.) Hundreds flock the street at night fall to experience the spectacularly decorated houses and experience the Halloween tradition with their children Trick or Treating . This event ends sharply at 8:30pm as Berkeley Police manage the area to ensure safety throughout the evening.

Free Baby Booooot Camp Class at Lake Temescal at 9:30 am on the morning of Halloween. See details >

Solano Avenue Trick or Treating will go from 3-5 on Halloween.  A costume contest will wrap up the event at the Albany YMCA at 921 Kains.

Temescal merchants open their doors to trick or treaters from 4 to 6 pm.

Berkeley’s Fourth Street Shops. Merchants giving out candy/toys. Participating merchants will have pumpkin at their door. Want Scary Hair?Keter Salon professionals will give you scary hair to match your outfit! Face Painting; Pumpkin Painting at The Pasta Shop; Costume Contest at The Ark Toys.Festivities begin at 2 pm.

Eat at Chipotle for $3 after 4 pm on Halloween day. Special offer extended only to customers in costume, and proceeds from discounted food go to their foundation for sustainable agriculture.

Hilltop Mall trick or treating from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Halloween Day at participating merchants throughout the mall. For children in costume, 13 years or younger. (No masks, please!)

Harvest Festival at James Kenney community center in Berkeley invites families to a mini-Halloween carnival during the afternoon.

Thrills and Chills Haunted House (FREE) at MLK Jr Youth Services Center at Grove Park in Berkeley is for kids 5 and up on Halloween day.

Halloween Community Parade at San Pablo Park starts at 4:30 pm. Meet up at the community center.

Bay Street mall in Emeryville from 6pm-7:00pm and face painting and balloon making from 5pm-7pm in the Bay Street Plaza.
