The Restaurant Serves Fresh Fish with Pacific Flavors, Westcoast Style

Pacific Catch is casting a wider net in the Bay Area with the announcement of its eighth location set to open late 2017 at 1305 South Main Street on the corner of S. Broadway Plaza. Walnut Creek will be the restaurant company’s second East Bay location after Dublin which opened in Persimmon Place across from Hacienda Crossing in late 2015.

The Westcoast fish house scratch menu is inspired by the culinary styles from around the Pacific shores and uses seasonal ingredients prepared with bold, craveable flavors. Notable items include a changing array of Daily Chalkboard Fresh Fish Entrées and Hawaiian Poke with six daily selections like Original Ahi Tuna, Salmon Avocado and Ahi Serrano. Other popular dishes are Rice Bowls, Island Tacos, Entrée Salads, Sushi Rolls, Fish & Chips and handcrafted cocktails like Mai Tais, Agave Margaritas and Lemongrass Mojitos.

“We’ve been looking for a community that would perfectly suit the Pacific Catch concept and we found that in Walnut Creek,” says CEO Steve Stoddard. “So much of our menu focuses on the clean eating aspects people with a healthy, active lifestyle seek. We also have a vibrant bar and cocktail program that will fit in nicely with the bustling downtown Walnut Creek dining scene.”

Pacific Catch fans look forward to its quarterly rotation of limited-time menus focused on things like the wild salmon run and Hawaiian classics presented with the restaurant’s signature Westcoast spin such as a Loco Moco bowl but with an over-sized crab cake instead of the hamburger patty. Everything is always fresh and changing on the menu with the Pacific Ocean regions providing a bountiful source of ingredients and inspiration.

Restaurant partners Aaron Noveshen and Keith Cox founded Pacific Catch in April 2003 on Chestnut Street in San Francisco. They subsequently opened in Corte Madera in Marin County, on 9th Avenue in the Inner Sunset District of San Francisco, The Pruneyard Shopping Center in Campbell, Third Street in San Mateo, The San Antonio Center in Mountain View, Persimmon Place in Dublin and now downtown Walnut Creek.
